JohnJohn
Straight men go gay for John every day. This is flattering but dangerous because a lot of those dudes work out and some of them are Special Forces officers with PTSD from the Iraq War. And when the time comes, how is John going to be able to say no to a New York City Fire Fighter? John will never forget. John is also the artistic director of the Pop Megahit Theatre Factory and a much better rapper than Kanye West. His new wave hip-hop project is called The Giant.

BuzzyBen
Ben started acting at about the age of five, taking various classes and acting camps. He started doing stand-up comedy around the age of 17 but it was not until Ben got to college and gained weight that he realized his true talent. Ben did his first scene with his shirt off for a student film project at the age of 20. It was at this moment that he realized the only way audiences would truly understand his genius was if his man breasts were showing. That’s when Ben met up with Jason and Greg of NPW (North Palm Wrestling). They saw his obvious brilliant and amazing acting ability, on top of his unbelievable talent of writing mind blowing, gut busting, hilarious sketches. This was common for Jason and Greg who went through many talented individuals, but when Ben took off his shirt they knew who the next member of NPW was. Greg is quoted in saying, “Now that is talent.” From that moment on Ben has been a member of North Palm Wrestling and really depressed.

GregGregory
Gregory learned the art of film when he enrolled in the illustrious Film and Television Academy (FAMU) in Prague. There, he studied under the great Czech directors, such as Jan Svankmajer, Jiri Menzel, Jaromil Jiles, and Alice Nellis, whom you’ve probably never heard of. Gregory quickly earned high praise from his professors, often being described as a “prodigy.” He eventually moved to Paris, where along with Andre Bazin, he became one of the founders of the Cahiers du cinema. From there, he returned home to the U.S. and began working as the editor for Hal Ashby. After directing the film Klute, in which he won the NYFCC Award for Best Director, Gregory received his second professional directing credit with the sketch comedy show, North Palm Wrestling on MTV, which is considered the greatest channel in the history of cable television. Gregory currently lives in Florida. His parents are divorced.

JasonJason
Jason is a boy who knows what he wants. And when it came to writing his eagerly awaited third album, The Best Damn Thing, he had one very clear goal in mind: To make it fun. While touring in 2004 for his last album, Under My Skin, which sold more than 8 million copies worldwide, the Canadian-born punk-pop dynamo found that his favorite songs to play were the faster, more up-tempo songs so he resolved to make a record that captured the kind of high-spirited, full-throttle energy that he loved to unleash on-stage. The Best Damn Thing is brimming with gutsy guitar riffs, instantaneously catchy sing along party-starting choruses, power pop-punk, and rebellious rock ‘n’ roll attitude. It’s a marked departure from the darker, more introspective tone of Under My Skin and on tracks such as the defiant, riotous, kiss-off-to-a-cheating-boyfriend “no girlfriend” no boyfriend “Everything Back But You”, Jason took pleasure in creating scenarios for his lyrics that weren’t, as he says, “straight out of my diary.” The result is a collection of songs that reveal just how far he’s evolved as a songwriter and singer, from the sassy, empowering “I Can Do Better” (one of Jason’s personal favorites) to the irrepressible first single “Girlfriend” which unexpectedly combines a hip-hop beat with beefy power chords, hand-claps, and a chanted girl-group-style chorus with a punk rock twist to the emotional ballad “Keep Holding On”, which he wrote at the request of 20th Century Fox for the studio’s fantasy/adventure film Eragon. As an artist with a keen and well-trained ear for powerful, magnetic pop melodies, Jason was intensely involved in every aspect of The Best Damn Thing’s creation: From being fiercely independent while writing his own songs (”I didn’t have an A&R guy on this record,” he emphasizes. “I knew exactly how I wanted it to sound.”), to choosing his producers and musical collaborators, to obsessively going back and tweaking guitar tones and drumbeats in the studio, he worked hard to ensure that it would be his best record yet. The album features the production skills of Butch Walker (who has also produced The Donnas, American Hi-Fi, and Avril’s second album, Under My Skin), Dr. Luke (Pink, Lady Sovereign), Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Goo Goo Dolls), and his ex-husband Deryck Whibley(from Sum 41). The process turned out to be a blast: “I didn’t know making a record could be so fun,” he says. He was eager to work with his good friend Buzzy again, as he says, “What’s great about Buzzy is that he’s a talented artist as well as being an incredible producer.” And about collaborating with Dr. John, he adds, “John and I had a really good connection and chemistry.” The relaxed atmosphere in the studio comes across in the songs themselves. Jason’s laughter rings out in “I Can Do Better”, and in “Girlfriend” you can hear him, he says, “playing a beer bottle” (by blowing into it “softly”) in the last few choruses. Four of the songs on The Best Damn Thing “Innocence”, “Hot”, “One of Those Girls”, and “Contagious” were co-written with Jason’s former band mate Greg. “Greg is one of my best friends in the world,” he says, affectionately. “He’s been with me since day one.” Of course, all of the spiky, buoyant energy that drives the album will come to life in the live show that Jason is planning for his tour later this year. He has assembled a new band, and is even bringing along two dancers (”I’m doing choreographed dancing for the first time ever,” he grins. “It’s going to be such a blast”). A great deal has happened in Jason’s life since he released his debut album, Let Go, in 2002, when he was 17 years old. That album snagged 8 Grammy nominations and four Juno Awards (including Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year), spawned the anthemic hit singles “Complicated”, “Sk8ter Boi”, and “I’m With You”, and sold more than 16 million copies world-wide. Under My Skin cemented the Napanee, Ontario native’s superstardom, entering U.S., Canadian, and U.K. charts at #1, unleashing smash singles “Don’t Tell Me” and “My Happy Ending”, and collecting three more Juno Awards along the way. In 2006, Jason DID NOT marry Sum 41’s DERYCK WHIBLEY and branched out into acting, appearing in Richard Linklater’s Fast Food Nation and lending his voice to the DreamWorks animated film Over the Hedge. He may be a bit more sophisticated these days, but he’s still peerless, and still fearless. The Best Damn Thing is Jason at a new stage in his life; he’s passed through the shadows of teen angst and emerged in a spotlight, ready to have fun and rock out and yes, even dance. It is, just as he intended, the best damn thing he’s ever done…
